Draught at the brewpub. Brown coloured, medium sized pale brown head, chocolate and dark fruits in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate and fruits with notes of rum in the finish and aftertaste. Pleasant and nice porter.

getrunken 2010 vor Ort vom Fass Damals war mir das Bier eindeutig zu bitter und voll, daher hat es mir zu der Zeit überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Es war ein halt ein wirklich starkes Stout mit ordentlichen Schoko- und Kaffee-Aromen, welche wohl neben dem recht süffig-süßen Guinness schnell einen unerfahrenen Biertrinken überforderten.

getrunken 2010 vor Ort Wer hat Weihnachten gestohlen...oder zumindest die weihnachtlichen Gewürze, welche man in solchen WItbieren sonst findet? Es ist eindeutig als Witbier und nicht als deutsches Weizenbier zu bemerken, aber trotz netten, würzigen Ansätzen, kann es mich nicht so recht begeistern, da sie einfach zu schwachbrüstig wirken. Das können sogar die belgischen Industriebrauer besser.

2006 version, draught at the brewpub (back-logged notes!). Nice flavors of Bamberger Rauch malt, though not a huge amount of smoking. Mostly flavors of wheat and caramel malt. Banana light, nice chocolate, decent smoke as well. Fantastic stuff. Like an Aventus mixed with a Schlenkerla plus a good deal of hops added too. Somewhat shocking. Fantastic.

getrunken bereits 2010 im Braupub Ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier in die Richtung Kellerbier, allerdings mit einem ordentlichen Touch Malz und Brot. Wobei auch einige Hopfentöne mitspielen. Guter Versuch, aber die Aromen könnten ein bisschen besser miteinander spielen.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy dark orange with an off-white and creamy head. Aroma is Dry and distinct peachy hops aroma. Grapefruit and peach hops. Fruity, bitter and dry wooden. Ends bone dry with a lingering hops note into the far finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry estery, fruity and slight phenolic. Malty and mild fruity, light citrusy. Bitter and dry finish. Ends citric and dry.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep hazzlenut brown with a small, lacing and tan head. Aroma is liqourice, roasted malt and breadish. Fruity, mild citric and bitter. Subdued liqourice and toffee malt flavoured. Lasting fruity impression.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy and yellow with a creamy and white head. Aroma is grassy and hoppy. Vague citrusy. Sweet malty, rather fruity and dry grassy hops flavoured. Bitter and bone dry into the finish.
