Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2018. Pours a clear purple red with a pink head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of tart berries, a bit of currant, light funk and a light grain backbone. Flavor has sour berries, red currant and a bit of a light funk and yogurt in the finish.

On tap at Dexter’s Pub. Pours black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is full of chocolate and dark grains with coconut, vanilla and a bit of roast supporting. Flavor has dark chocolate and roasted malts with dark grains, vanilla and coconut underlying.

Dark ebony, undetermined clarity, topped by a tan head showing moderate retention.
Vanilla fudge, unsurprisingly, in the nose leads to more dry cocoa and soft coffee-like roast. Not aggressive in either its roast or fudge. Vanilla feels light, authentic and not overdone while notes of creamy milk chocolate are not too sugary, yet fairly rich and sumptuous. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's roasty up front with a hint of salty char and dark chocolate that softens in to creamy milk, vanilla and fudge with a supple, but not syrupy texture. A bit of char and bread lingering on the finish dries things out and adds a moderate dose of acidity. Ashy, bready and some sweet-and-sour juxtaposition. A bit too much odd bitterness building up on the finish but still quite good.

Spicy, floral notes with nectarine skin and lemon. Some scallion, with light cracker-like malts behind it all. Kind of dull with sharp perfume not really doing much to interest. Light, airy, vegetal, rather unfocused. No alcohol or resin, though.
In the mouth, it shows strong floral-tinged perfume character with bitter pine, followed by a reprieve of softer, honey-accented malts but then transitioning in to harsh, raw, ethanol. It cuts the already questionably thin texture and dulls the flavor. Sharp finish with lots of spruce/pine, though not much resin. Too much raw alcohol, ultimately, and the hop notes get twangy, as well.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a glowing straw gold with a finger of off-white foam that lingers. Lovely pithy white grapefruit aromas with pineapple and light iyokan. Bright, pithy citrus and zest on the palate. Good citrusy bitterness mid-palate into the finish. Crisp and clean, and the bitterness is welcome. Really nice.
