Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a black color with a small foamy tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was breweed coffee and wood. The flavor was bitter burnt brewed coffee, wood, vanilla, anise and roasty malts. Long finish. 16 ounce can. Pours a very cloudy orange hue with a medium white head. A big fruity nose. Tropical, pears, big lemons, dry earthy malt, sweet vanilla. This is very good. Big round tropical flavors. Lovely.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/27/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, honey, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very Midwest feeling style. Big juicy and fairly dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with adequate lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering.

16 ounce nitro can into imperial pint glass, canned on 11/29/2017. Pours lightly hazy opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and creamy khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big nutty medium roasted coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, cream, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of vanilla, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt and coffee notes; with great strength. Taste of big nutty medium roasted coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, cream, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of vanilla, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal hop and roasted coffee bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of nutty coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, cream, dark/brown bread, light vanilla/smoke, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and coffee flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance; and zero cloying/acrid flavors after the finish. Mild carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mild sticky hops, chalky roast, and dryness. Zero warming alcohol for 6.9%. Overall this is a outstanding coffee stout! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and coffee flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; with the mildly bitter/drying and silky nitro finish. Tons of great fruity/nutty coffee complexity, with a spot on base beer in malt complexity; seems to be a milk stout. Interesting that this does not have a widget, just a regular can. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.3%. Overall this is an awesome red IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Really juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; sizable dark/bready malt backbone, but never overly sweet/heavy feeling with adequate dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.

Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon/orange peel, coriander, peppercorn, clove, pear, apple, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon/orange peel, coriander, peppercorn, clove, pear, apple, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light peppery yeast spiciness, herbal/grassy/spice bitterness, and wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon/orange peel, coriander, peppercorn, clove, pear, apple, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.6%. Overall this is a delicious witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and well balanced between all flavors. Coriander is a bit on the strong side, but I didn't mind it. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruit, resiny hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, caramel and ripe fruit. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Light-bodied with flavors of noble hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a mildly spicy aftertaste. Decent overall.
