Black with a brown head - Malt and coconut aroma - Dark malt body iwth chocolate , coconut and wood barrel flavours - Malt flavours with a good coconut goes into the finish - This was good

Aroma and flavor overwhelmingly of bourbon and barrel oak. Some coffee cuts through but the BA character is at the forefront.

Xmas bottleshare @ Gijs. Pours an oily black body with a small beige head with little retention. Aroma's of ginger, orange, chocolate, sweetness. Retronasal it's very sweet, sugar, herbs. Flavour is very, very sweet. Above medium bodied. Too sweet

Xmas bottleshare @ Gijs. No indication what year this was, but I don't think it was 4 yrs old. Pours an oily black body and a small light brown head with little or no retention. Aroma's: bourbon, nutty, boozy. Retronasal it's sweet, booze, bourbon, peanuts. Flavour is very sweet with light fruit. Full bodied, syruppy, sticky. Nice, but just a little is enough. a whole glass would be too much sweetness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Peanut butter, chocolate, whisky, spicy rye, milk chocolate, biscuit, booze. Nice oily body. Outstanding.
