So I always wanna complain about this style, the hazy, overtaking the IPA category with its weird creaminess and low bitterness. But every now and then i get one that I just can't be mad at. Here's one. Super hazy appearance, very pale yellow-white, gigantic overflowing head. Nose is big fresh hop, with a ton of citrus esp grapefruit, some tropical fruit, some resin. Flavor much the same, the grapefruit rind zing hits, and then fades, with a mild lightly bready malt presence. Closer the bottom of the glass the yeastiness starts to show, esp in the nose with a distinct doughy note. There's a fair bit of yeast sediment in the glass.

Super hazy, pretty pale white and barely golden coloured body with a nasty, ugly, large-bubbled frothy head that fades super quickly, but leaves basically nothing on the sides of the glass above the 90 per cent opaque body. Aroma of light oranges, a touch of mangoes, a light hit of wheat and yeast, but a good deal of dry malt notes and even some alcohol in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively crisp citrusey flavours show at first with good oranges and grapefruit notes, but the wheat and slightly oaty notes show soon thereafter with a little bit of sweetness and a touch of alpha acid bitterness. Aftertaste is fairly crisp, but balanced pretty well with a lot of effervescence, some soft malt notes, a good dose of citrusey flavours and some noticeable bitterness. Overall, a pretty nice lower ABV IPA (that seemingly shows MORE ABV than what's supposedly in here) with a good citrusey dryness. Good to sample from Florida, but not for the price I paid for it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 31-December-2022 for US$8,49!!! sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-May-2023.
