Continuing with their commitment to create excellent pints served by exceptional people, the successful brewers of Tequesta Brewing Co. founded Twisted Trunk in 2015, in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Banyan trees scattered throughout the city gave inspiration for the brewery's name.

The spacious taproom features a bar created from 100 year-old elm wood, lounge areas for group gatherings, flat screen TV's, views into the brewery, and historic photos of the city. Outdoor seating is also available. The 25bbl brewhouse churns out flagship beers Lucky Langer Lager, IPGA IPA, and Rasta Stout, as well as a long list of rotating specialties.

Draft pour at Twisted Trunk - PBI. It might be renamed something else soon, it's hard to tell, not only the airport, but also the venue. It was under massive construction when I was there, but the beer was flowing at the bar. Poured a mostly clear ruby orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light sweet malts. Caramel.

12oz can picked up at Total Wine in Melbourne.
A huge gusher, lost half the can on my new chair. What was left poured clear golden with a huge off-white head, good lacing. Grapefruit, grassy, wet grains, spicy.
Not impressed. Couldn't finish the rest of the can. Footbalmed!

Slight citrus and some booze. A little orange peel. Not really sure where this idea about 71 IBU comes from. I'm tasting nothing in the finish. Comes off clean. Pours hazy yellow with ok head. Light green onion. Can.

Draft pour at SG 2 Year Anniversary Party. Pours a deep gold with a creamy white head that dissipates. Huge cannabis forward nose with lots of dank and lemon zest aromas. Some citrus as it warms, but the terpene dominates the nose. More terpene on the palate, but soft and pillowy mouthfeel. More citrus and some tropical mango notes. Low bitterness with a lingering dankness. --- Beer merged from original tick of Super Sweet Tooth on 10 Feb 2018 at 18:47 - Score: 8

Draft pour at SG 2 Year Anniversary. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that dissipates slowly. Huge, intense aromas of dank, grass, and concentrated herb. Saison-like esters in the background...lemon, pear and kabosu. Clean and crisp, very drinkable. Pungent weed and lemon linger on the palate. I've had nothing like this before. Very unique. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lemon Kush on 10 Feb 2018 at 18:47 - Score: 7
