No glass lacing, some coconut floating around. Light streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, coconut, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, brownie batter, vanilla, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of licorice, molasses, raisin, prune, fig, date, cherry, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light increasing booze in the aromas as it warms; a bit too fruity/yeasty, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, coconut, light-moderate fruity yeast, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, coconut, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, brownie batter, vanilla, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of licorice, molasses, raisin, prune, fig, date, cherry, smoke, char, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Very mild herbal, grassy, peppery, roasted bitterness on the finish. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, coconut, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a solid hop/roast bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety/bready, and lightly slick/sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mild increasing warmth of 12.9% after the finish. Overall this is an excellent flavored imperial stout. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, coconut, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV, with the very mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel for the ABV. Awesome balance between super rich malts and coconut flavorings; with mild earthy hops and restrained fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect. The taste made up for the aromas.

5 oz. draft at Orange & Brew, Downers Grove. Opaque in the glass, exactly like a glass of orange juice. Smell is the “denser” clementine rather than regular orange juice; more concentrated. Taste is more of a juice than a beer, however. Very low carbonation. More of a beer cocktail.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Creamy yogurt aroma with apricot and peach notes. Smooth on the palate with some bitterness. Fairly sweet with some citrus and tart apricot. Lingering skin astringency.
