0.33 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr), best before April 2024. Clear, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. A little sweetish, slightly malty, minimally floral aroma of grains, some corn flakes and light straw. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, moderately dry and a bit grassy taste of grains, some straw and a touch of corn flakes, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Rather clean, neutral, just about drinkable.

50cl draft à un Biergarten Leipzig avant le concert de Iron Maiden.
Dorée, col blanc.
Arôme sur un nez basique - malté pils mais sans plus - frais houblonné sur un noble marqué - terreux, finement floral.
Palais est frais, sec, assez banale - pils très proche de ce que Carlsberg offre - pas étonnant que ces derniers aient rachetés Holsten. Sec, léger herbacé, effet un peu thé refroidi.

Bottle. Reddish amber, small head. Light caramel nose, slightly mineral. Somewhat malty flavor, then a little bit metallic and sour - mild bitterness. Drinkable but not really great.
