12oz bottle. Deep brown-red color, with big, foamy, beige head. Eastern Euro pungent caramel chocolate aroma, with some milky chocolate tones as well. Straightforward and enjoyable enough. Doughy, watery mouthfeel. No bittering balance to speak of, true to style I suppose. Smooth, malty chocolate finish. A interesting beer to try, not exactly world class.

12oz bottle served in a German Pilsener glass. Pale, dull, fitlered orange-tan color. Soapy, respectable head. Classic noble hop aroma. Unimpressive body, with lots of watery, sugary tones. Too thick for a Pilsener, but not enough yeast character to be a good classic German Lager. Underwhelming and generally sub-par beer. Factory beer.
