Bottle, 1.2%. Slightly metallic aroma, some sweet hay, horses and brown sugar. Clear very dark brown colour. Small light brown head. the flavour is very sweet, creamy, caramelly. Strangely enough the mouthfeel seems quite watery.

Bottle, 5.2% Weak grassy aroma. Almost clear yellow colour. Good stable white head. Mild flavour, a little yeast, naturtrüb notes. Gets a little cardboardy in the finish, with a slightly metallic and harsh bitterness, but actually not that bad.

Bottle, 5.2%. Macro lagery aroma. Clear grey amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is bready with a slightly rough bitterness. Not unpleasant, but a bit boring.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pale golden with a dense and creamy white head. Lightly spicy hop aroma. Light body with a discreet malt feel and a finish that is dry but not that bitter. 051008

Bottled@Fonefan. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, malts and some mild saltwatery notes. Flavour is hops, malts and some strong saltwatery notes. Mild herbal notes too.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very much foam. The beer tastes modest alcoholic, the finish is malty and dry. Not really a good beer, the Kappler Braumeister is better!

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass is okay. Smells a little bit sweet. Tastes really good, modest dry, finish spicy. Good beer!

Süßlicher Antrunk, was im Mittelteil verschwindet. Dafür ist die Cola hier stärker, Bier ist hier nicht zu finden. Im Abgang dann schon eher, aber auch hier beschränkt sich dies auf eine leichte Herbe, die schnell von dem Süßstoff der Cola aufgezehrt wird. Trotz 60% Bier kein Spitzenprodukt. Test vom 16.2.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,6,8,7,9,6 - 6,70

Prickelnder Antrunk, etwas nach Limette, säuerlich, leicht künstlich. Mild bleibend, die leichte Fruchtigkeit bleibt, der zunächst künstliche Beiton weicht. Im Mittelteil herber werdend, was sich im Abgang fortsetzt, ohne das die fruchtigen Töne wegblleiben. Sehr positiv, dass trotz Süßstoffen keine wirkliche Künstlichkeit aufkommt. The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also, although there’s not much foam. Fine aroma. Tastes spicy, a little bit sweet. The finish is also a little but sourish, but that’s making the beer interesting.
