Fruchtiger, sehr hopfiger Geruch. Sehr hopfiger Antrunk, in dem eine süße Note nicht verloren geht. Das hopfige Aroma bleibt bis zum Schluß auf konstant hohem Level, auch die Süße geht so schnell nicht verloren. Daneben baut sich eine herbe langsam auf, wirkt aber fast schon kraftlos im Vergleich. Frischer, aber schwerer Geruch, der ins metallerne übergeht. Sehr süßer Antrunk mit Malaromen, die Dank der Süße einfach nur störend wirken. Im Mittelteil verstärkt sich das Ganze einfach, der hinzukommende hopfige Teil wird ebenfalls von der Süße erschlagen. Der Nachgeschmack bietet kaum etwas anderes, erst wenn die Süße abflacht erkennt man, dass das Bier durchaus Potenzial hat, die würzigen Teile in Verbindung mit der nun nicht mehr störenden Hopfigkeit haben ihren Reiz. Das wars dann aber auch schon. Die Süße ist in diesem Bier überproportioniert, auch wenn sie eher durch ihre Klebrigkeit als durch ihre Stärke stört. Minimal süßer Geruch. Frischer, ausgewogen süß - herber Antrunk. Im Mittelteil wird das Bier süßer, eine leichte Malzigkeit ist erkennbar und steigert sich im Nachgeschmack. Hier ist das Bier außerdem angemessen hopfig. Mildes, aber sehr gefälliges Bier. Test vom 20.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,9,9,10,8,9 - 8,80

Süßer, einigermaßen malziger Antrunk. Würziger Mittelteil, der weiterhin nur mittelmäßig malzig ist. Das Bier ist hier außerdem leicht fruchtig. Die Malzigkeit ist im Nachgeschmack angemessen, das Bier ist hier leicht bananig, der Nachgeschmack hält lange. Test vom 20.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,11,11,9,9,11 - 10,30

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, visible carbonation, mid-sized white head, going down slowly; honeyish-bitter nose with a big pig-sty-like touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; finishes sweet-malty and bitter with a touch of tartness. Smells unpleasant, drinkable nevertheless.....

Bottle: Chestnut amber coloured, smaller off-white foamy layer; solid sweetish- fruity (dried fruit, dark fruit) and malty nose with a tinge of molasses; sweetish - not cloying - flavour, medium bodied, soft MF, robust sweetish-fruity finish with an illusion of a lingual bitterness. A quite pleasant, well rounded Bock............

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, lively carbonation, firm creamy head; delicate sweet-malty aroma with a distinctive, sweet floral, a bit grassy hoppy nose; solid bitter-sweetish flavour, light bodied, soft MF; sweet malt in the finish, again, combined with a delicate lingering aromatic hoppy aftertaste. A fine Pilsener, far away from the ugly northern-german stuff......
