Many thanks to Philippe (Bov) for sending me the original pet bottle and generous sample. Country #160. Poured hazy gold/amber with minimal bubbly head. Aroma of maize, malt, apples, slightly herbal and light spice. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Finish of malty biscuit. Drinkable despite it’s travels.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with minor head. Aroma is sweet grains, mild lemongrass as well as some herbs. Flavour is grainy, some lemongrass, herbs, grass and mild floral notes.

Many thanks to omhper for a taster of this one, delivered at my hotel in a small flip-top bottle. Pale golden body, next to clear. A few bubbles at the surface. Grassy smell with hints of cat piss. Mild dry taste of pale malts, leaf and distant oily hops. Drying end. Quite possible to drink (Hotel room, Stockholm 26.11.2016).

Bottled, huge thanks to Bov! Clear pale golden, small head. Aroma of buttery cellar and green apples. Sweetish with light body. Ripe with butterscotch and apples, some grain. Almost no bitterness. Old school soviet style.
