Can. Deep orange. Mild biscuit nose. Slightly creamy and effervescent. Caramel and biscuit nastiness, with some residual bitterness. All a bit too mild and restrained for me.

Can. Gold with a loose inch of white head. A: citrus, pine, some mango, hay, a lick or caramel. Quite sweet with plainish pale malt and no obvious yeast character. More tropical fruit and a bit of marijuana join the citrus and pine. The texture is light and a little resinous towards the fairly bitter end. Good. Offers nothing new, but I guess it's not trying to.

Keg at the bow bar Jan 2016... Amber... Big massive fizz foam head... Soft sweet toffee fruit.. Sweet fruits nose... Way too fizzy.. Zezty fruits.. Dry woody toffee fruit

Bottle at bow bar Jan 2016... Golden amber.. Thin white lacing... Soft sweet toffee fruit nose... Soft sweet toffee fruit.. Light caramel malts

Southern Wailer - Rogered Uncle Rye Porter from Cheeky Monkey Brewery

Tap. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of mocha, spiced bread, some berries. Lightish bodied, smooth texture. Taste has bread, mocha, a little dark fruit. Just on the high side of bitterness, quite spicy finish - peppery hops and rye working together, I suppose. Very drinkable hoppy porter.
