(On tap) Black with small tan head. Nice toasty dark roast malt aroma, with smokes hints. Lovely palate with medium body and soft carbonation giving creamy mouthfeel. Nice roast malt, toasty flavours. The blackberries are pretty subtle. but there is a subtle fruity balance. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl Bottle at RBESG 17 Grand Tasting. Slightly hazy golden amber colour, white head. Aroma is light spicy, rye, citrus, grapefruit, light resin. Flavour is light malty, caramel, spicy, nettles, rye, citrus, some resin, nice and hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slick.

From a bottle at RBESG 2017. Pours clear golden with a small, white head. Hoppy aroma with fruity, hints of herbs, citrus and pine. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity. Decent, tasty IPA.

(Sample from a bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, fruitiness, citricness, mildly malts and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, hoppy and bitter. A well done hoppy brew.
