bottle. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, quite sweet and malty, rounded off with some shy but good aromatic hops. I rather liked it, I think this is really a good strong lager.

2L Bottle - Golden in colour. Strong aroma of alcohol along with some malty and slightly fruity notes. Fairly strong taste of alcohol. It’s rather bitter and seems to have been made with the less discerning drinker in mind. Foul.

2 liter PET bottle (thanks SADESA!). Golden colour, small white head. Fruity and alcoholic aroma. Flavour is sweet fruits, grass and some cardboard. Hides the alcohol quite well, as alcohol just gives a slight burn in the finish. Bordercase between European Strong Lager and Malt Liquor.

Bottled. Reddish orange coloiur, small white head. Aroma is raspberries and strawberries along with paper and rubber. Flavour is very much the same. Sweet and messy "blah".

(Bottled BB 02/2009). Pinky red color, small pinkish white head. Rasberry juice aroma. A bit sweet, rasberry juice flavored. Some sour milky notes. Not much beer found.

Canned (thanks to SADESA’s younger brother for sharing half a can). Golden colour, white head. Aroma is hops, grains and some mild notes of rubber. Quite much the same in the flavour, the rubber is just a bit better hidden there.

A dark-brown beer with a medium and smooth beige head. The nose is nice and balanced, mild roastiness, slightly sour and maybe hint of alcohol. Taste is balanced and malty, medium sweetness, balanced roastiness, some bread. Medium bodied, almost oily to drink. A.Le Coq Porter is quite sweet and thus loyal for baltic porter style. Easy and dark bready beer.

Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris_o’s. Thank god someone wrote down what this beer was properly, I had no idea and it was the first of the tasting as well. Pale gold, thin white head. Glue/corn aroma. Fairly obvious alcohol. Some hop on finish.

Big offwhite head doesn’t last. Yellow body. Chalky oily apple and peas aroma with alcohol notes. Sweet apple and alcohol taste with chalky notes. Mild, faintly oily mouthfeel with considerable alcohol heat. Dryish floral grassy alcohol aftertaste. The alcohol dominates, making the taste kind of sickly. Did not enjoy. (0.5l bottle, Alko Arkadia, Helsinki.)

Dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Weak malty aroma somewhat grainy, with a hint of berry. Sweet grainy malt flavour with a fruity note.
