5ooml Bottle. Nice dark brown colour, quite malty aroma, bit thin some chocolate in there but not really what I would describe as a Porter.

500ml bottle from Alko in Finland. Nice mahogany colour topped with an enduring off-white head. Malty aroma and instant taste of roasted malt and notes of black coffee. Medium bodied and a bit watery for a porter. Easy to drink. Short finish. Alright, but far from great (03.03.2006).

Bottle. Small head that is gone almost instantly.Golden color. A bit hazy. The sweetness in the beer covers the high alcohol percentage.

Bottle. Acidic hop aroma. Golden colour, stable white head. Alcoholic flavour. Sour vegetable aftertaste. Just another strong lager. 6 3 4 3 7

Bottle, 8.0% as Walter Stiprais. Peppery aroma. Clear golden colour. White head. Slightly sweet flavour, quite vinous, rough pepper note, and citric finish. Keeps getting more and more sour. A true krepkoe, indeed. 4 3 4 3 6

Bottle. Malty aroma. Dark red/brown colour. Small head. Liquorice flavour and aftertaste. Hard bubbles. Aftertaste leaves a sort of liquorice or anis feel on the tongue. Slightly watery for a porter. OK, but boring.

Bottle. Pale chestnut colour. Stable creamy head. Remarkably tasteless. Clean. Has a slight wateryness and bitterness to the aftertaste. Very boring.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark chestnut brown with a warm reddish glow and an off-white, creamy head leaving some laces. Richly malty with an almost vinous nose. Lots of roasted malt, lightly sweet - but only weak traces of chocolate. Quite nice, but not very porter-like. 111105
