BOTTLE 50 CL from Beerfox, Riga. Almost clear dark mahogany, creamy beige pillowy head with good retention. Sweet overripe citrus in the nose, along with some earthy hops and apricot jam. The taste is overripe dark fruit - not juicy and bright IPA-style - a bit shifted towards toasty malts. The bitterness is soft and mild - ranging from grapefruit pith to dried leaves. A good one.

Tap at koht. Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, fruity, citrus, oranve. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, lemon, malt, caramel, dry bitter. Finish is dry bitter. BOTTLE 50 CL from Beerfox, Riga. Almost black with clear ruby highlights, creamy beige head. Milky vanilla chocolate in the nose. Taste of rich smooth chocolate, hints of dark treacle, solid roasty and grassy bitterness. Full-bodied yet easy-drinking. Very good.

BOTTLE 50 CL from Beerfox, Riga. Almost clear amber, creamy head with good retention. Clean sweet citrus and tropical fruit aroma, along with some fresh tangerine pith The malts just blend into the fruit, without standing apart. Taste: mellow citrus, light caramel and biscuit, moderate zesty bitterness. A tame, but clean and fine pale ale.

BOTTLE 50 CL from Beerfox. Clear dark amber, creamy tan head. Big creamy malt aroma with citrus and pine. Even the pine seems malty! The taste is malt-driven - smooth creamy malts, followed by subtle citrus and pine. Soft hoppy bitterness with just the right amount of alcohol heat. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. A good example of a malty double IPA.

Bottle (shared by marduk, thanks), bb 09.12.2016. Pours amber with whiteish-beige head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus, oranges, malt, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, oranges, caramel. Finish is citric bitter. Body is on the thin side. Drinkability is good. Overall: good.

Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, citrus, tangerines, malt, caramel, slight burnt notes. Finish is dry bitter with some citrus and sweetness. BOTTE 50 CL from Beerfox. Clear dark copper, off-white creamy head. Punk grapefruit freshness, some pine and zest and lots of dark caramel - but without the sugary sweetness. Smooth pithy bitterness - no harsh green hop spice. Very nice.

BOTTLE 50 CL from Beerfox, Riga. Beautiful clear amber with a small sediment, off-white head. The aroma is hoppy, not very strong but fresh - grapefruit pith, citrus perfume, a bit green and harsh at times. The taste is very close - dry, with subdued malts and a very fresh and spicy hop flavour, at times getting a bit too harsh and gluey.
