Pours dark brown with a nice beige head - that is gone in seconds and leaves the beer looking relatively flat. Aroma is soft, with some roast shining though pillowy milkiness. Gives me some hints about the heavy body that I should expect. Taste profile is much to my liking - it has some roast character to it but it doesn’t become too bitter and the roast does not dominate. Also, it is not sour, something that usually happens when body is weak. The body of this one is strong and stodgy, almost completely missing carbonation making it even heavier. Velvety and soft milky stout. Not bad at all, but probably at least some carbonation would lighten things up more.

Thanks to TimE for sharing the bottle at the tasting! Poured into a taster showing high filtration and amber hues. The nose shows very light pineapple with hints of cannabis. The palate immediately shows a strong punchy IPA bitterness. Light bodied with a strong grainy/malt flavor (no sweetness though, completely dry).

Pours darker amber, nice creamy look to it. Aroma is quite full of warm autumn hops. Fruity and full of berries. Taste is also quite intense with hop bitterness. Malty, fruity, somehow getting mild at the end. Quite easydrinking for double IPA I think, especially for 8,9%.

Medium amber color. Dry piney and citrusy nose. The mouth is a bit stickly with decent malt backbone with decent warming finish but a bit basic. Decent.

50cl bottle from Valmiermuiza shop in Riga. Pours close to clear amber with an off-white head. Moderate fruity aroma with notes of malt, caramel and hints of citrus and grass. Medium sweet with rather mild hoppy flavours and seems more malty than I remember from the others in the series. Maybe it’s getting old or maybe it’s just not my kind of hops. Not bad in anyway, but the others I’ve tried I’ve liked more. Decent IPA still, but not quite my kind.

50cl bottle from Valmiermui?a Alus Tirgotava, Riga. Pours slightly hazy deep golden to amber, with an off-white head. Rich hoppy aroma with solid malty background, notes of citrus, tropical fruits and hints of cat piss. Sweet, flavourful, fruity and quite balanced. Well crafted and quite easy to drink. Decent stuff!

Big beige head. Clear brown body with strong carbonation. Earthy dusty rye aroma with sugary mineraly notes. Dryish roasty mineraly taste with earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry-acidic earthy roasty bubblegum aftertaste with mineraly caramelly mealy notes. Mealy flavour lingers. Interesting. It’s drinkable, very different, but harmonic. The mealiness is really the biggest issue. (0.5l bottle, from somewhere in Riga.)
