Flaske 500ml som har hatt en lang transportvei fra Riga til Tromsø. Delt med Rune, Snegurochka og TheCellarer på Nerstranda 7 Aug 14. Gyldengulbrun. Lavt skum. God aroma av frukt & bær. Bærpreget forsterker seg i smaken. Tankene gikk tilbake til barndommens bringebærbrus.

0,5L bottle, bottle nr. 309. Pours red copper with light tan head, small line stays. Aroma is intense caramel, malt, dark fruits. Taste is very sweet, malt, caramel, dark fruits, raisins, some alcohol. Finish is malty bitter. Overall: great brew. bottle, 314, 9.0%. This is great. Goes up the overall.

50cl bottle from shop next to the brewery. Pours clear pale golden with a small, white head. Lovely floral aroma with elderberries and hints of herbs. Somewhat sweet with floral flavours and a light bitterness. Surprisingly nice and tasty, not much beer like, but nice and refreshing.

50cl on tap at Valmiermuiza, Riga. Pale golden with some floating particles. Strong floral aroma with some fruity notes, a bit candy like. Not much beer taste, but much more beer than most radler things. Some similarities with those. Quite refreshing, not especially but more soda or lemonade like than beer. Fair enough - quite pleasant, but not a winner in my book.

Unfiltered on tap at Valmiermui?a, Riga. Almost clear, beautyful deep amber with a small off-white head. Lovely smoky aroma, dominating, but well balanced. Malt, notes of caramel is present too, but after the inital gentle smoke has settled. Moderate to medium sweet with a certain bitterness. Well balanced and quite delicious!

500ml bottle, shared with Kenneth 14.06.14 @Valmiermuiza, Riga. A mix of pilsner and caramel malt according to the staff. Murky body that goes from orange to yellow, it’s like a lollipop, no head and no lacing. Very inviting to the nose according to Kenneth: peach, pineapple, grain, caramel, citric notes, flowers and also some hint of sour milk. This is also mirrored in taste, but there are also some banana flavour and some acid. We both found it well-balanced, but I think it was too carbonaded.
