Old rating from 12/8/14, on draft, pours a murky orange into the shaker, huge rich aroma of citrus and tropical fruit, lovely. Taste is surprisingly full compared to most pale’s, full chewy sticky mouthfeel, I wouldn’t say this one is refreshing due to the mouthfeel, but it is one of the better Irish PA’s out there at the moment.

draught into a shaker, color is just what you’d expect from an amber ale, head was very thin though. Aroma of tropical fruit and some bready malt. Taste is a little weak compared to the aroma which suggests a slight imbalance with aroma vs flavoring hops. Finish is medium hoppiness combined well with the sweetness of the malt backbone.

On draught at Bull & Castle in Dublin. The beer is a slightly hazy yellow-amber color with a medium fizzy white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and citrus. Light-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character and flavors of grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.
