(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2023) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with caramel, red fruit and treacle-toffee. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, toffee and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

--Bottled, from Harlingen. -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Malt aromatic nose with roses and toast. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Chewy, perfumy, somewhat caramelly malt. Mid bitter finish. Interesting.

Bottle shared with Terje on board Baluba in Helgoland 08.07.23. Slightly hazy pale golden. Fine aroma and taste of various citrus, marmalade and pale malt. I couldn’t taste the ginger.

--Bottled, from Mitra, Harlingen. -- Clear golden, small head. Aroma of coriander, bun dough anf banana. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with wheat bun dough and mild coriander. Low bitterness.

0,33 l bottle from Slijterij de Jong, Nes. Cloudy red golden with a more than one finger white foamy head. Smooth floral honey with peach on the nose. Taste has also peach with some hints af strawberries and peach, some orange. Increasing bitterness with dry pale grain. Low carbonated, mid bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een harsige en hoppige geur. De smaak is vol hoppig, grapefruit en hars met een lekker bittere zacht zoete afdronk.
