Lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is kruidig zoet met iets van vanille, wat abrikoos en appel. Best goede tripel.

Medium body. Verrassend goed.

Baltic porter from a brewery in Harlingen, northern Friesland; enjoyed at 3B in Sneek. Thick and dense, creamy, greyish beige, slowly opening but generally well-retaining head over a black beer with burgundy edges. Aroma of coffee grounds, wet leather, minerals, wood ashes, burnt cardboard even, ferrous spring water, wormwood, roasted chicory, black peppercorns. Clean malt-sweetish onset with vividly tingling, very minerally carbonation; smooth and rounded malt body, early roasted bitterness, toasted walnut, bit ashy and bonfire-like in the end with a long-lasting roasted chicory and coffee filter bitterness to it as well as this natural 'ferrous' effect (haemoglobin), a peppery hop bitterness lurking beneath all that roastiness and a warming, gin-like alcohol glow. Some powdery roasted bitterness lingers. What Kromme Haring's Muddy Waters, another Dutch Baltic porter tasted the day before, lacked in roasted bitterness, this one has in abundance - so I am rating this one higher. Well done and a nice first encounter with a brewing initiative I had never heard of before I set foot in Friesland.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen en thuis gedronken. Goudgeel licht troebel bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Aroma van citrusvruchten en banaan. Smaak is zacht, fruitig, bloemig en licht hoppig. De nasmaak is bloemig en kruidig.

Pro: taste of elderflower, dry, floral, herbal, fresh, crisp. Cons: way too much carbo, mouthfilling co2 after each sip, shortlasting foamy head, decent but needs some fine tuning.

Thick creamy tan head, Coffee-like roasted barley and malts, slight chocolate. Taste has lots of smooth dry roasted malts and some chocolate, medium-light body, low carbonation, nice tasteful creamy ale for it’s low abv

Bottle fron Natte Gijt. Bit hazy golden with big white head. Sweet sugary malts, a bit of cloves, allspice and coriander, toffee, mineral, there's some sweet fruity notes as well but I don't really get any elderflower specifically. Over medium sweet and lighter bitter solid medium bodied with quite some carbonation. It's not the best sauson ever, but it's a simple and decent true to style beer.
