Very hazy golden coloured body with a light orange and copper glow, all with a four centimetre tall tan head - this looks great. Aroma of fresh cut grass, light herbs, a touch of citrus and a mild malt character. Medium-bodied; Light soapy flavour with some subdued malt along with a lot of grassy and herbal hops. Aftertaste shows a nice balance, with a lot of hop bitterness from grass, herbs, citrus and perfume. Overall, a nice and relatively easy drinking IPA, with full flavours and a nice finish of citrus tastes. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 12-July-2015 for US$1,79 sampled at home in Washington on 04-March-2016.

12 ounce can. Pours a cloudy orange gold color with a small foamy beige head. Faint pine hop aroma. Sweet malt flavor has pine and grapefruit hops to boot. Yeasty and earthy with a touch of neglected headcheese from the back of the fridge. Mildly carbonated with a soft palate. Easy to quaff, but just average as IPA’s go.

12 ounce can. Dense black color topped by a brief tan head. Roasted malt nose with notes of burnt wood, ash and smoke. Flavor mirrors nose with additional notes of dark coffee and chocolate. Some leather and tobacco in middle. Smooth and drinkable with a smoky bittersweet chocolate finish. Quite nicely done

Draft at Cork City. As Curiosity Citra Pale Ale, but seems to be the same beer (5%). Orange color with a small head and light lace. Comes through as hop forward aroma, lemon zest, some spice. Mid-bitter. Decent feel. Not a great Citra beer, but a decent one.
