Draft - Roasty notes with some coffee. Jet black with a decent beige head. Chocolate, light coffee and roast notes. Decent sweetness and not much bitterness. Also some spice notes from the rye. Not bad.

Sampled at Wingcraft in Atlantic City. Pours a totally clear gold with some creamy, white head. Nose is kind of interesting, smells just like yellow cake, vanilla, some brulee’d sugar, a little cream soda, some powdered sugar. Flavor follows right along, sweet and cakey, vanilla icing, cream soda, a little fake malt. Sweet finish. I was surprised how well they hit the concept. Not a great beer, but an interesting take.

Can thanks to Dmac: Poured a burnt orange with fluffy off white head. Aroma is a nice fruity fresh hops. Nice juicy hops that mellow but stay nice. Definitely could see this being drank on a hot summers day versus this winter night.
