Description
ThaiBev was established in 2003 to consolidate a number of leading spirits and beer businesses in Thailand belonging to our founding shareholders and other investors. In 2006, we registered ThaiBev's listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), and subsequently expanded to the non-alcoholic beverage and food sectors to diversify our product portfolio, enhance logistics efficiency, and mitigate business risks. Today, ThaiBev is not only Thailand's leading beverage producer, but also one of Asia's largest beverage producers. Our business consists of four segments - spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverage, and food.

Bottle from Home & Bargains – cheap ! Has a faintly disagreeable aroma of fresh earth and mushrooms. Pours a slightly brownish yellow with a frothy transient white head. After taking my first sip taking I looked and the bottle for ingredients. And yes, rice is listed ! Taste more like a mushroom risotto actually, with also cooking oil and (bizarrely) glace cherries. Finish is sweet. A pretty forgettable beer all round !

Can Thanks to and from Thomas's Thailand adventures, shared at home 03/04/2020 - pours a reddish colour with a white pinkish head. sweet and toasted malty with grainy malts, strange artificial flavour, wet cardboard, some grassy bitter notes, light body, bittersweet subdued hoppy finish. Weird.

Can carried back from Thailand. Very pale gold, low head. Grainy nose is weak but not nasty, some rice, light malt, touch of hops. Lemony light, crisp, bit ricey. Ok for tropical weather, and this is definitely better than the oxidized imported stuff.

Can. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of metal and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish.
