Description
ThaiBev was established in 2003 to consolidate a number of leading spirits and beer businesses in Thailand belonging to our founding shareholders and other investors. In 2006, we registered ThaiBev's listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), and subsequently expanded to the non-alcoholic beverage and food sectors to diversify our product portfolio, enhance logistics efficiency, and mitigate business risks. Today, ThaiBev is not only Thailand's leading beverage producer, but also one of Asia's largest beverage producers. Our business consists of four segments - spirits, beer, non-alcoholic beverage, and food.

33cl Fles van Asian Market in Beverwijk. Helder goudgele kleur, witte kraag.

33cl can at home (3 VII 2021), as Chang Classic lager beer. Clear pale golden to yellow brew with a fizzy and urine-like appearance; on top a swiftly diminishing off-white head. The nose is nothing bad for a 5% ABV pale lager. Flavours of malts, bits of corn, some wheat, undefinable bread hints, dust particles. The mouthfeel has much of carbonation. The taste makes one think of lemon grass, wheat, features of hay. On the tongue, there is a little sourness with a mild sweetness. The ending is smooth or silklike, even with dashes of ginger and herbs. This is not just an archetype discounter-quencher, but a well-balanced yet light bodied pale lager performance. Far more interesting than the average brew.

320ml bottle - Pours a clear pale gold colour with a small white head that settled quickly. Aroma is light malts, cardboard and some grassy notes. A moderately sweet to light sweet taste, pale malt and sweet cereal flavours with not much bitterness.

Green bottle from an Asian shop. Medium gold clear with a small head that dissipated medium fast. Light grainy hay/malt nose. Flavor is super grainy, watery very thin body, almost no hops or bitterness. Having just drink a Tiger minutes before, I can say that for me Chang Classic is far inferior.
