Can@Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly malty, and the flavour is bitter, quite dry and gently yeasty. Overall a reasonable but none the less standard lager.

Smells sweet with a hint of hops. Looks like an average beer, but the head is nice and foamy. Tastes sweet and fruity, a bit of hops, but not overpowering. The finish is not too sweet. It’s a pretty good sweet lager, not great, but all right.

Smells of bad body odour, alcohol, and a bit of corn starch. Certainly not too appetizing to start out. Looks like a very average lager, some head, but not great looking. It has a very weak, but not off-putting flavour. Some hints of malts, but very smooth, and very uninteresting. Mouthfeel is below average, not much carbonation happening either.

Foul smell here of corn starch, alcohol, tinniness and a slight hint of dirty socks. Has a bright yellow colour, almost gold, but not quite. Some head, but it dissipates faster than I can type this. Taste is of grains with a bready aftertaste. Could be a lot worse, so I was surprised that it tasted not too awful. Still, this is a pretty weak entry to the pilsener market.

Bottle. Skunky flavor hit me right on opening bottle but then turns more into a sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with white cloudy particles floating around the bottom. Light sour barley malt flavor with moderate carbonation. Nothing spectacular but drinkable.

Bottled. Pale golden, thick airy head. Aroma of mashed banana and a bit of that sorghum smell that reminds of very stale beer left in the sink. Fruity, sweet and medium bodied. The addition of sugar is evident, while the hops can hardly be noticed. The sorghum is mostly noticed in the aroma, then it appears to be just another adjunct lager. No bitterness. I can’t say I enjoy it.

Bottled. Pale golden, minimal head. A vague hint of spicy hops can be noted in the aroma. Light bodied with watery mouthfeel. Very easy going and unremarkable, but without off-flavours.

Bottled. Pale yellow, small creamy head. Some spicy hops up front. Light-medium bodied with clean mouthfeel and low bitterness. Flawless, but very typical tropical lager.

A light yellow beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of sourness and hops - quite ordinary. The body is quite thin. The flavor is malty, with hints of hops and sourness.
