Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Handwritten "peated" and best before date of "3-β17" on the label as deScription says. Clear dark amber to deep dark red color, medium sized beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, sweetish, only slightly a hint of peat which is actually quite nice since peat is often too much, too dominant in a beer. Taste has it as well, again in a light way, noticeable and detectable for sure but not too much, not too dominantly. Some alcohol notes and definitely some caramel, toffee, toasted malts and quite bitter in the end. I quite like this one. Well done.

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Slightly unclear orange golden color, average sized off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, yeast, sweetish, lightly some yeasty herbal influences. Average to medium body, firm a bit fizzy carbonation. Meh. You know, itβs drinkable for sure and not unpleasant but itβs just not interesting,

Bottle [from trade with bierkoning] @ home. Hazy yellow color, fizzy medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste are typical witbier: wheat, citrus, coriander, yeast. Average to medium body and carbonation. Must note though that the carbonation is initially quite fizzy but that disappears after a while. Not unpleasant.

Black with lasting thin head. Aroma has some earthy notes and dark malts. Some liquorice in the flavour and a tart yeasty edge to the finish. Very complex and flavoursome.

Clear and light brown. Aroma is quite sweet with some banana. Has a lot of sweet fruitiness in the taste but is not sticky.

Bottle from Speciaal Bierwinkel Bodegraven, BB 4-16, large sample. Cloudy yellow color, big rocky head. Aroma is slight spicy of coriander, wheat, citrus, slight celery/green apple, coriander. Soft sweet citrussy, soft bitterness. For a witbier, it is a bit on the yeasty and spicy side, so more wallonian. For a white IPA it lacks a bit hoppower. Bit too much yeasty byproducts, but enjoyable.

Bottle at home. Murky orange golden with nice white head. Light citrusy hops, lots of sour berries, light funk, bitter vegetal notes and soft grains. Tate is under medium sour and soft bitter finish. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. My second Pochpoater beer and again it seems infected. Messy stuff, itβs not totally horrible but the hops and sourness donβt work well together.
