Bottle at the local Indian restaurant. Watery blond colour with white head. Aroma is grainy and slightly chemical. Taste is bit creamy, small grassy hoppiness, unsurprisingly not massively exciting, but goes ok with curry. Slight chemical sweetness. Quite soft, and ultimately inoffensive, but not that interesting.

From an Indian mart in the East Village: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is industrial lager, vague adjuncts. Taste is sweet, light grainy. Not terrible with spicy Sri Lankan food.

Bought @ a Lidl, label says brewed in Edinburgh. But no doubt the same recipe. Golden color. Soft grainy aroma and flavor. Hint of apple. Short sweetish aftertaste. Not good.

Pours light gold with a thick white head. Aroma of corn malt. Taste has light floral notes dancing over some carbonated bubbles. Palate has sickly sweet malt. Not bad for a cheap beer.

Bottle at Daniele’s in Rome. Regular clear macro golden, medium white foam. Nose is boring and a bit off, malty-corny. Mouth is flat.
