# 4235; 6/2024. As Opat Bitter Kvasničák, alc. 4 %. Vague malty, herbal and yeasty aroma. Murky gold body with floating particles, persitent lacing white head. Malty, watery, extremely harsh soapy bitterness. Bad beer with faults. 1 l, plastic bottle, supermarket, Rožmitál pod Třemšínem (Bohemia, CZ).

Bottle from Karlow. Near Szczeliniec Wielki (Highest top of the table mountain). Drink after we back at Schronisko PTTK Jagodna. Czekoladowe, marcepanowe i bananowe, nieco migdalow i makowca. zapachu amaretto. Zupelnie jak nie piwo. Troche w tym malowniczym Broumovie przesadzaja z eksperymentami bo pokrecone strasznie, chyba bardziej niz Bledne skaly. Ale git ze nowy wpis i 40-te piwo z tego klasztornego browaru zaliczone.

Draught. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is dark malts, some floral, toasted and roasted notes with mild herbs. Flavour is roasted, some slight bitter and syrupy tones along with some chocolate and nd mild roast.

PET Bottle (thanks Kalevi K). Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is resin, some sweet malts with a bunch of spices. Flavour is herbal, peppery, some grassy and mild sweet malty tones.

Bottled. Slightly hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is floral, some bready and mild toffeeish tones. Flavou ris grassy, floral, some citrus with mild earthy and some toffeeish tones. Smooth and refreshing.

Draught@GBBF2011. Deep brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roast, some nutty and mild tart tones. Flavour is rye, roast, nutty and some slight tart berry tones. Quite dry palate.

Bottled. Goldeny orange colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is honey and some slight sugar and grain. Flavour is grains, hay, honey and some wooden tones. Way too easy and honey dominates in a quite bad way.

Bottled. Slightly hazy orange colour with a fluffy white mediumsized head. Aroma is rather sweet sugary with some toffee as well. Flavour is caramel, some syrupy tones as well as mild herbal elements. Very rich on the carbonation, close to being a gusher.

Bottled. Brown colour, small beige foamy head. Aroma is toasted, mild chocolate, some spruce as well as some strange tartness. Flavour is chocolate, some toast, mild watered out plummy tones with some slight tartness. OK, and actually the tartness here is most likely meant to be.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is herbal, mild grass and bready. Flavour is bready malts, mild grass, herbs and earth. Easy, and quite thin. Not that cool. Bulky feel to it.
