(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Unclear, golden colour with a thick blonde foamy head. Sweet, slightly honey-fruity malty nose with a light ethereal and alcoholic note. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft and chalky mouthfeel. Pale malt character with a tinge of honey and a light medicinal touch; slightly sweet and bitter finish with a tinge of acidity (05.05.08).

bottle from Pivni Galerie. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty aroma. Full-bodied, malty with lovely hoppy flavours. The honey stays in the background, but is still present in a pleasant way. This year’s Easter special is a very nice beer.

Künstlicher Sockenantrunk, ein muffig hopfiger Ton dominiert den Geschmack. Wenig getreidig und süßlich, ekelhaft modrig. Echt misslungen! Test vom 24.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 3,3,4,3,8,2 - 3,00

bottle from Pivní Galerie, labelled Svatecni lezak 17%. Amber colour, medium-size head. Well balanced hoppy and malty lager with hints of roasted malt, caramel and a pleasant amount of bitterness in the finish. A shy fruity sourness is also present.

draught at VPT 2007. Dark mahogany colour, perfect creamy and persistent white head. Aroma of caramel. Full-bodied, malty flavours with hints of caramel and toffee, slightly hoppy. Perfectly-balanced vienna, a most convincing polotmavy lezak.

bottle. Golden yellow colour, somehow unusual hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavour indeed. It seems a bit thin because it is lacking malt, which is logical being a "extra chmelené pivo" (extra hoppy beer). Really hoppy and quite interesting svetle vycepni.

Muffiger, sehr grasiger und wirklich SEHR eigener Antrunk. Etwas herb, weiter sehr grasig, CO2-arm, komisch. Malzig werdend, woran sich die Grasigkeit anpasst. Zum Ende hin besser, da ausgeglichener. Sehr komisch! Test vom 29.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,5,8,6,11,6 - 6,60

Trockener Hopfenabgang. Test vom 25.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,8,7,12,8 - 8,25
