In the cellar we have our own microbrewery, where Toman's beer lies and matures. When you decide to visit us, you will find out that once you enter, you will be welcomed by a space that is designed more as a brasserie. The space includes a brewhouse, bar and places for standing and sitting. If you prefer a more quiet place to sit, our second floor is the right place for you, despite the fact that it also offers a unique view of the square. As you walk up the stairs, you can imagine all the prominent people such as Jan Werich, Jiří Voskovec, Rudolf Těsnohlídek, Eliška Junková and many others that once walked these stairs too.
In the restaurant and the pub we serve the same meals and drinks, complemented by typical beer specialties. The portfolio of our beers consists of light 10 ° and 12 °, dark 11 °. The names of beers bear the names of former residents of the house. We also offer special beers to revitalize the assortment.

Bottle at BBT in july 2023. Originally bought around the 2020 Christmas season. Med-full body, medium carbonation, nice long lasting beige head. Med-light roast, med-light dried fruits. Light cocoa, coffeeish maltiness. Med-light woody, faintly peaty whisky character. Pretty good beer, with light pleasant warmth. Quite good, enjoyable, drinkable. Not great though, lacking intensity and width.

Bottle at BBT in july 2023. Originally bought around the 2020 Christmas season. Med-full body, medium carbonation, nice long lasting beige head. Med-light roast, cocoa, slightly ashy. Medium dried fruits. As opposed to the Caol ila, this feels like a stout. The wood and/or whisky character is very low, the whisky imparting a little bit of warmth and faintest hint of peat. Warmth overall is med-light, but pleasantly soft. Pretty good one.

Bottle at BBT in july 2023. Originally bought around the 2020 Christmas season. Med-full body, med-high carbonation, nice long lasting beige head. Rather light on the roast, seems to be more focused on intense dried fruits, molasses. Only light chocolatey maltiness. The wood and/or whisky character is so low as to be practically non-existent. Pretty good beer, with subtle and pleasant warmth, aged well, but does not feel exactly stoutish. Good but not great.

Tap at the brewery. Very nice, only light warmth, but very well balanced and easy drinking. Medium estery sweetness, light bitterness, low sourness. Pretty strong banana esters, less clove phenols - moderate. Moderate bready wheaty maltiness. Overall quite good.

Backlog. Tap at the brewery. Clear, deep amber-ruby colour, stable off-white head. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness, practically equaling each other. Moderate dark molasses, light caramel, nutty, toasted malt character, hops in the background. I do not get the rye either, but no matter. Solid polotmavy, quite good, easy drinking, not overly sweet in the balance.
