330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is full of dark fruits, maybe a hint of barrels, and berries. Flavour is very fruity, with murky dark fruits, a tiny hint of barrels, and bready caramel. Dark fruits and barrels on the finish. It's not totally proficient, but it's pleasant.

330ml bottle at Matt's. Appearance: brown with almost no head. Aroma: some bourbon barrels with some butter notes. Taste: along the same lines, boozy, a bit roasty and chocolatey. Quite dry. Harsh bourbon barrel. Overall: not bad.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bottled 2017.12.01). Dark brown with dissipating beige head. Huge bourbon nose with wood and tobacco. Taste has a large bourbon presence as well with some toffee and vanilla sweetness, a bit boozy. Unfortunately, the malt, almost completely hidden, is quite bland. This barrel aging would suit a stout or porter more than an amber in my opinion. Since the barrrel overpowers the beer so much, I would say it’s fairly unbalanced. A good attempt, but some work to do. I have trouble even classifying this as an amber because it’s mostly just barrel.

0.33l bottle thanks to Lore. Hazy dark ruby with a very thin beige head. Huge nutmeg and oak notes in the aroma with caramel, raisins, vanilla and even a hint of chocolate. Taste is also quite powerful. Vanilla and oak is present in it too with chocolate and caramel. Sweet, spicy and boozy at the same time, but the alcohol is not harsh at all. Great beer.

Hazy reddish dark amber to mahogany colour, medium sized creamy beige head; aroma of intensive bourbon notes, raisins, toffee, slight vanilla and coconut; taste is the same with alcoholic spiciness; amazing beer, but I'm not sure that amber ale is the most suitable beer style for it

33 cl bottle from Sheraton Hotel Hsinchu, on March 1, 2018. Marked 2017.10.11 and 098.13.WA.Hazy pale straw yellow color, fairly large fizzy and soda pop sounding white head. Belgian yeast, spicy phenolic scent. Sweet, malty, Belgian yeast, spicy taste. Yeasty, spicy, dry aftertaste. Medium low mouthfeel, medium bitterness that is likely low but enhanced by the bitter yeast sensation.After rating and with some 10 cl left n the glass, I poured the bottom of the bottle in, was a good yeast chunk that made the appearance go to murky and old grapefruit juice color.6/3/6/3/11=2.9

Marked 2017.11.06 and 101.11.MOS.Plenty of sediment in the bottom of the bottle when just gently twirling it to get a look at the label, poured carefully. Hazy straw yellow to pale golden color, big bubbled, fairly lasting white head, leaving some lacing behind. Malty, citrus zest, brown yeast scent. Yeasty, bitter, citrus, hoppy, fruity taste. Yeasty, bitter, alcohol aftertaste. Medium full, low CO2 mouthfeel. Medium high bitterness.5/3/6/3/11=2.8

33 cl bottle purchased in the lobby bar at Sheraton in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Marked 2017.12.01 as well as 096.02.BRA. Cost was TW$500 which sort had me go surprised even, but what can you do. Likely the hotel itself that had it marked up, though payed $280 and $300 for other bottles.Hazy dark reddish brown color, tan sort of fizzy bubbling head that sounds like a soda pop when diminishing. Sweet, malty, wood, bourbon, alcohol, raisin, wet tobacco scent. Sweet, toffee, alcohol, raisin, bitter, wood, bourbon taste. Wood, bourbon, alcohol, bitter aftertaste. Medium full though also a tad too fizzy mouthfeel, medium to medium high bitterness. Warming alcohol.Though the price in the hotel was rather steep, I am happy I got is, since it is a very nice brew for my taste.9/8/4/17=4.2

33 cl bottle on October 4, 2017. Purchased and drank at FEWdrink, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Marked 2017.04.15, hope that is the bottled by date.Hazy golden to amber color, off-white head with lacing. Fruity, sweet, hoppy, scent. Hoppy, citrus, zest taste. Zest aftertaste, also oranges. Medium full and still light, don't ask me to explain it, mouthfeel.
