[33cl can from Beer52.] A murky peaty brown pour with a loose beige head; sugary aroma; sugary malt taste; and a very sweet finish with a touch of boozy raisin. Not my idea of a porter.

9/8/2025. Can shared at ITFC beer share. From Beer52. Pours clear dark brown with a red tint and a big frothy beige head. Aroma is milky chocolate, ashy, caramel, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, mild roasted bitterness. Moderate body, lightly creamy, soft carbonation. Good.

A dark brown beer with a beige head and moderate persistence. Aromas of chocolate, hazelnuts, and caramel. Tastes of roasted malt, nuts, caramel, and a hint of grass. Decent bitterness. Medium-bodied, slightly dry, but still quite distinctive. A good porter.

330ml can via Beer52, brewed in the EU. Poured into my Gordon's thistle shaped glass at home on 1st July 2025. Ruby hue to the dark brown body, beige crown on top. Earthy, nutty and malty, nice semi-sweet caramel/chocolate flavours arrive and a subtle bitterness takes over in a lingering dry finish. I bet the normal 8% ABV version is really good. This was fine and fairly rich body wise.

330ml can from Beer52. Mostly clear gold with white wispy covering. Aroma has a moderate grassy dankness with hint of fruit rind but somewhat underwhelming. This is also true in flavour although there is a nice balance to it; smooth, herbal and wood bitterness and not overly sweet. It did grow on me.
