Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9
Draft as part of a flight at the taproom. Clear dark brown color (not black). Dense off white head. Aroma's: roast above all, some grain and fruit. Retronasal it's fruity, grain, vanilla. Flavor is roasted, lightly sweet, light vanilla. Light bodied. Long finish, roasted, bitter, vanilla. Interesting twist, but I think it's more like a porter.

Draft as part of a flight at the taproom. Almost black color. Off white to light beige head with good lacing. Aroma's: fresh hop, tea leaves, light drop/licorice. Retronasal it's a little bit stale, roasty, bitterish, fruity. Flavor is above moderate bitter, roasty, fruity. Medium bodied. Long finish moderate to full bitter.

Draft as part of a flight at the taproom. Clear red/copper color. Dense off white head with lacing. Aroma's: sweetish (rye), red fruit. Retronasal it's red fruit, bitterish, light roasted. Flavor is bitter with some roast, pumpernickel bread. Medium bodied, chewy for a 6% (from the rye presumably). Long finish, fruity and bitter.

Draft in a flight at the taproom. Clear deep golden color. Dense white head with some lacing. Aroma's: quite fruity, bitter. Flavor is full on bitter. Medium bodied. Long fruity and bitter finish.

It seems I have the honor of posting the first ever rating for this brewery. I had a flight at the taproom. Clear golden color. Sticky white head, some lacing as well. Firm aroma's of citrus and resin, with light grain. Retronasal it's citrussy, bitter, fruity. Flavor is bitter with a hint of malty sweetness. Light bodied. Finish is firm bitter, dry. This was my favorite of the flight.
