Bottle - Smells sweet and sour with hints of cherry and orange. Hazy orange with a thick long lasting head. Sour on the tongue with some surprising bitterness and a yeasty finish. Individual flavours are hard to discern with the sour and bitterness overwhelming the palate. Would pair nicely with food, but not enough on its own. Draft - So much better than the bottle, more like a Flemish. Finish us still weak but the flavours come through. Will rate based on this.

On tap at The Beer Mongers, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of white wine, soured light fruits, sour white grapes and yeast. Flavour of chardonnay and quite soured white grapes dominating, finishes sour and white wine like. Very solid.

A well balanced pale ale. Good mixture of hop and malt. Doesn’t seem very strong, but I wasn’t looking for very strong in a pale. Hope they keep making this.

Draught. Golden pour with thin white head. Had that funky aroma of a good Saison. Refreshing, and low enough in alcohol to be a session beer. Worth trying.
