Description
The Rochester Mills Beer Co. opened in 1998 in Downtown Rochester. Located in the historic Western Knitting Mill, the brewery is located on Water Street, just two blocks east of Main Street. Preserving the original character of the building, the brewery features original hardwood floors, columns, beams and exposed brick walls.

Rochester Mills Production Brewery, LLC, brewers of Rochester Mills Beer Co. brand beers for distribution, founded 2012 in Auburn Hills, quickly becoming one of the top craft beer producers in the state of Michigan. Our Lagers and Ales packaged in 16 oz. aluminum cans are currently featured in grocery stores as well as independent and franchise convenient stores, and specialty beverage merchants throughout our distribution footprint. Additionally, our core brands, which include The Original Milkshake Stout, Juice Bigalow NEIPA, Rochester Red Ale, Pine Knob Pilsner and the 12 Days of Milkshake Stout, can be found flowing from more than 1000 taps at bars and restaurants across Michigan, Northern Ohio, Indiana, Europe and Canada.

Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cream cheese, vanilla, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with lighter notes of licorice, molasses, dark fruit, smoke, char, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/black/roast/bready malts, lactose, cocoa nib, cream cheese, and light-moderate earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with big strength. Can shared at THT August ‘19. Black with a small tan head. Aroma is huge chocolate cheesecake and fudge. Flavour is heavy sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
