The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, fresh, relatively light, grassy, light orange rind, light mineral, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Tasty, but I expected more body and bitterness for the ABV and the fact that it’s advertised as a West Coast.

Can at home. Ugly murky fruit juice appearance. White head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit dusty, a bit grassy, but unfresh. Smells unfresh too. Hmm no, not good at all. Stinks even. Bleh.

Pours a thick, oily, cola-black, with massive, slowly developing, tan head. Aroma is chocolate, some almond, vanilla. Flavors follow, with some coffee in the mix. Thick, chewy mouthfeel. Very sweet--you could pour this over ice cream.
