Opaque pale pink. No head. Fairly sharp acidity, light rhubarb and light grapefruit. So much sour...I wouldn’t mind a touch more sweetness.

Murky pink-orange colour. Sour and lightly fruity, muddy, basically without beer flavour; slightly short and astringent in the finish.
Not bad, but targeting somebody who doesn't like beer.

Cloudy blond colour. A bit smelly, petrol and BO, mild acidity, light citrus. Dry, with strong citrus character, which include the acidity and astringency too, some lactic, peel notes in the finish.
Weird but not bad.

Can, Legacy. Hazy, tan colour. Not much head. Bright tropical hop and lychee aroma - lots of enigma and vic in here I think, but just lots of hops overall. Moderately sour, light hop bitterness, big white wine, lychee and mango hop taste. Clean and tasty, a solid DH kettle.

Taster. Appearance: hazy copper with a white head. Aroma: some dark fruits, vegetables, roasted malt, caramel, nail polisher. Taste: similar. Overall: meh, one more strange barrel aged beer from Strathcona, unfortunately :-/

Taster. Appearance: slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: Brett and oak. Taste: along the same lines, but it's very sour and with acetone notes. Overall: not very good, unfortunately.

Fairly hazy golden color. Nice sweet tropical fruit and slightly tart and lacto nose. Tart. Nice fruitiness.

Hazy dark amber to brown colour, small head. Fruity aroma, some of that is the cognac, spirit. Good body strength, just moderately sweet; dark sugar and bread flavour, the acetic is a bit too high; quite strong cognac character, also nice elements from the Brett; a bit earthy and nutty in the finish. Burning alcohol.
Not very elegant, and with minor flaws (acetic), but very interesting for Strathcona.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of wood, with some Belgian yeast and a toasted bready toffee. Flavour is loaded with barrel character, with tons of wood, a little whiskey, lots of alcohol, and followed by caramel malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with heaps of wood and alcohol, with boozy whiskey, Belgian yeast, and caramel malt. So much barrel but fittingly so. Very good.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy bright red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out fresh raspberries upfront, with a touch of wild yeast. Flavour is loaded with fresh raspberries upfront, with a touch of saison yeast. Lots of juicy raspberries here, without any notice of the alcohol. Nice stuff.
