Hazy tan. Thin head. The aroma is fruity and a bit citrusy, seems like lupulin powder. Bitter, with a little bit yeasty, with a floral hop note. A bit yeasty, but decent. It seems somewhat thin, so I'm wondering where the lactose and oats come into play.

Draught at the brewery
Black color with beige head. Aroma of ashes and dark malts. Dry mouthfeel , weak; roasted malt flavor, ashes, therefore the tiny smoke touch is almost completely hidden; high malt acidity too.
It's like a runoff of a more famous Märzen Rauchbier; as is, more dirty water than pleasant beer.

Those specs are definitely schwarzbier, not pilsner. Dark brown. Medium head. Light smoke on the nose, with a bit of roast malt. Medium body, toasty dark malts and a moderate smoke. Light bitterness...very much a smoked schwarzbier. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond color with generous frothy head. Very nice aroma, fresh, fruity. The mouthfeel is dry, crisp delicate malts, the hopping is juicy but also resiny; tropical fruits, citrus peel, a touch of weed, very light vegetables in the final, which is distracting a bit.
Very good.

Draught at the brewery
Black color, the head disappears quickly. Smell of glue and cardboard. Dry mouthfeel, good roasted malts, some cookie and spices, lightly herbal.
I'm not entirely sold on this polluted Stout.

On tap at Strathcona, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out heaps of dry coffee, with hearty oats and light earthiness. Flavour reveals the sarsaparilla upfront, but thankfully it's not too dominating, giving way to earthy malt and dry coffee. I'm just not a fan of the sarsaparilla, even at this lower level. Decently done, just not my thing.
