Pours a cloudy reddish amber colour and a small off white head, quickly receding. Aroma's: ginger, spices, pumpkin pie. Retronasal it's spices, sweetish, light boozy bourbon. Flavour is sweet, spices. Medium bodied. Long finish with spices. Quite nice actually.

Shaker pint draft at the Griffin Claw Brewing Company in Birmingham, Michigan. The pour is a clear golden yellow with a small white head and nice lace. The aroma is cereal grain malt along with earth mineral. The taste is Wiesn style, clean malt flavors, fresh crisp flavors and a bit of mineral in the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the mineral finish.

Taster pour from a bottle at bottle share -- thanks Chalumeaux! Appearance is clear, dark, dark brown with no sparkle, thin ring of beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is vanilla and mild bourbon. Taste is bourbon over caramel malts and alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth, velvety texture, soft carbonation and lively spicy kick and finish as taste. Overall, the alcohol dominates vs. compliments--could use some more time to mellow.

Aroma is cinnamon, chocolate and mild vanilla and berry fruit. Taste is as aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty decent but not that complex.
