A hazy orange yellow colour, it gives me about a 1 finger’s worth of thick foam.
A nice nose of pine and grapefruit greet my nosebuds.
Grapefruit and pine in the taste, I’m sensing a bit of bread as far as the malt goes.
On the light side of medium bodied, a bit too much carbonation, imho.
Good bitter flavours, good drinkability. I like. Especially that it clocks in at 4.0 % abv.

On tap at MBGSF 2014. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Sour apple aroma. Sour apple flavor as well, white grape, sugary juiciness. Very slight vegetable note as well. It’s pretty nice.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no canning date, but is a recent release. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with bright citrus/grassy hops with some light malt balance; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/grassy hops and light malt balance; with solid robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected for 4%. Overall this is a very good session IPA. Good complexity and balance of bright citrus/grassy hops with light malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Can. Pour is fairly dark... more of a reddish brown than anything else. Aromas are slightly nutty with some apple notes and a little bit of toffee. Flavor is very nice. Kind of a sweet and jammy fruit presence holds things together with a little bit of autumn leaves type stuff going on. Good beer.

16 ounce can into lager glass; no canning date, but is a recent release. Pours fairly crystal clear bright gold color with a small fairly dense white head with decent retention, that reduces to a slight lace cap. Minimal lacing on the glass, with a moderate amount of carbonation retaining the thin cap. Aromas of light lemon zest, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Ok aromas with well balanced pale malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester notes; with poor strength. Taste of slight lemon zest, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Zero bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of light lemon, pear, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Decent robustness and solid balance of pale malt, earthy hop, and yeast ester flavors; with no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth and crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected for 4.5%. Overall this is a mediocre pale lager. Pilsner malt character is extremely light and there really isn’t a whole lot of flavor. A very crisp, clean, and smooth drinking offering. Not bad.

Draft in a snifter. Nice, dark opaque black. Funky vanilla/caramel aroma. Nice try, but the combination of bourbon/vanilla/oak taste didn’t really work for me.

Very nice aromas with good balance of hop, malt, yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, cracker, bread, pepper, pine, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of spicy pepper/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, cracker, bread, pepper, pine, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; with a very crisp malt/bitterness balance and minimal cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Czech pilsner style! All around good balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; and extremely crisp and smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap. Pours a lighter gold, clear, with a white head. Spicy hop and pale malt aroma. Flavor features the spicy hops with more floral hops as well, pale malts, a bit sweeter than the average pilsener. It’s a rather tasty one, though.
