This is a new series of IPAs for Burnside it seems. I haven’t seen 02 around. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big tropical fruity nose. Pineapple, a big soft tropical hop base that is really clean and tasty, biscuit, there is bitterness here and I enjoy that. Drinks bigger than 6.5%, though I’d love to see a 10% version. Haha. Great beer.

Spiced fruit beer from this Portland brewery, from a 65 cl bomber. Irregularly shaped, snow white, lightly lacing, slowly breaking head over a misty yellow blonde beer with warm peachy hue. Aroma of indeed mashed apricots, sweet chili peppers, moldy lemon, soggy white bread, soap, ginger, cider, grape peel. Vividly fruity onset with actual fruit tartness but more in a green plum- or berry-like way than apricots - at least at first, because in the middle a certain apricot sweetness does show up, over a soft soapy wheat and bready backbone; the fruity sourness continues over this and then is met by a strong chili heat which lasts quite long but actually fits in surprisingly well; soapy wheat and sourish fruit flavors linger after swallowing. A daring combination of flavors and you’ll have to like ’piquanterie’ in your beer in order to appreciate this, but I certainly do and for me this combination works fine.

On tap at OBF. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light woody citrus nose. Light perfume that could be cedar, but it isn’t big, some toast, citrus. Clean. Solid.

Mlld gush on this bottle, it soon calmed down. Hazy orange - gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, good fine biting carbonation. Light and creamy sweet malts. Nice light orange hops, touch of hop spice. Delightful light mango. Little pine on the finish. Not a shouty IPA but it delivers and satisfies with it’s light touch approach.

On tap at the PIB. Pours a copper color with a small white head. A huge floral resinous hop nose. The flavor is wonderful; sharp sweet hops, oranges, bitterness. Very big but smooth. Excellent.

On tap at PIB 2016, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is big on the resinous and piney hops upfront, with a thin caramel malt backbone. Flavour is huge, with loads of resinous hops upfront, loads of pine, and a big caramel malt backbone. Nothing subtle about this. Packs a load and is wonderfully balanced. Excellent.

Draft at de Molen. Golden pour. Aroma of funk, hops and sweet fruit. Taste is mildly funky, with hops, bitters, caramel, malt and tropical fruit. Nice.

At SAVOR 2016. Poured a very slightly hazy clear yellow color with a white head. Aroma was light herbal notes, light spice, some floral character, very mild fruity notes. Flavor had some very subtle heat on the finish, some spice on the finish.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. A bit hazy yellow color, medium sized white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is a bit unpleasant, rotting fruits, tart. Tastes about the same: rotting fruits, tart, tart fruitpeel sour-bitter, some herbs or spices. Really dislike it, yuk!

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy orange colour with a medium sized white head. Smells horseblanket, brett, coriander. Tastes some hops, quite a lot of herbs, malts. Nice carbo, medium body.
