Bomber from the brewpub. Pours clear copper with a minor whiteish head. Something of a citrus aroma. Med. body. Flavor is light roast malt with some piney/floral hop. Mild balance of malt and hop on into the night. Not exciting but it drinks well.

Nitro tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a creamy near white head. Light hop aroma. Med body. Flavor is mildly pine over a mildly roasted malt. Think the nitro is adding/exposing a slight tanginess. At 42 IBU should it be hoppier? Is the nitro smoothing down the flavor? Still it drinks well and had a nice lingering bitterness. Washed food down well.

22 oz bottle. Poured a dark color with small tan head. Aroma was caramel, sweet roasted notes as well. Chocolate notes, caramel, hops, but a bit too malty.

Mushroomy rich barley malt and tea aroma. Clear reddish copper, no head. Dry and slightly tart, watery mouthfeel. Dried leaf flavor, finishes with a kiss of bitterness. I suspect that this is made with extracts, it’s just so watery and nothing really comes together well.

Orange peel aroma, maybe a little grapefruit peel. Cloudy orange, thin head, some lacing. Orange peel, moderate bitterness. Bitterness increases in the finish with a more piney, dirty, and oaky character. Good combination of hops gives it an all hop complexity. Surprisingly woody for an ordinary non-barrel aged IPA. Good stuff!

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours clear amber with white head. The aroma is malty sweet with crystal malts, lightly roasted malts and then prunes, raisins, date meat and growing level of sweet caramel malts. The taste has caramel malt notes and dashes of sweet dark fruity esters. It then moves toward an increasing level of vague hop bitterness. Thin watery finish.
