0.25 l bottle, best before September 2016, thanks Secret Sint! Clear, dark brownish red with a thin, foamy, almost stable, tan head. Sweetish-malty aroma of brown sugar, molasses, toffee and nuts. Sweet, malty taste of brown sugar, caramel and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally metallic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Very simple bock, rather sweet, like a Dutch Oud Bruin or a Malzbier.

Sample on tap at the brewpub. Thin creamy off white head. Clear amber pour. Not much to it. Itβs nice enough but I was expecting something a bit more outspoken as a 70th anniversary beer.
