Nice. I’ve had this over 2 years in my cellar so I was worried it was too long, but it held up good.

Bottle - Vintage 2013 - Very strong bourbon and equally strong chocolate. Jet black with a rich white head. Toffee and chocolate with tons of depth and complexity. Very well balanced with not too much bourbon or booze in the taste. Great beer.

On draught at Ginger Man Dallas. Dark ruby-brown color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes gradually. Dark fruit, malt and hops in the nose. Medium body and slightly chewy with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit and earthy hops. The finish is subtly smoky with a malt and fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft - Chocolate and caramel. Dark black brown with a nice beige head. Chocolate and lots of caramel, almost like a Rolo. I quite liked this, but have a hard time calling this a black lager.

Draft @ DFW. Deep amber colour with a thin head. The aroma tells me this is old school IPA, without a prominent hop signature. Moderate bitterness, some biscuity, caramelly malts, medium body, sweetish finish and no real brightness at any point. Not a bad beer, but a little dated.
