GumboBar, Galveston 12oz: Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is lightly roasted, somewhat chocolatey, and a bit of that slightly grainy lager smell. Taste is pretty similar. Slight bitterness. Restrained sweetness. Chocolate and roasted notes. OK.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Central Market, 10/23/13

Aroma: The nose is clean and hoppy, pine/resin, with some grapefruit, and a little caramel
Appearance: It pours a clear copper color with a small, lasting, off-white head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste is nice and hoppy, clean, medium bitter, with a decent malt backbone
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth and clean feel, and a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This one easily exceeded my expectations. The mouthfeel is really the standout here, this beer drinks really nicely. It isn't the most bitter example of the style, but there's enough hops to make it tasty. I was very impressed.
