Bottle 12fl.oz.Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, berries. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dried fruity, spicy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110622]

What’s not to like. Great name; great label; great style; sent by a great guy - bomber from ericandersnavy. Pours amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready with some spicy florality. Flavor is peppery/bready with some herbal/noble hop. It’s quite nice. Good body, intriguing flavor, finishing towards astringently bitter. I’d like to see them do a 10 single hop series, if that wouldn’t lose the pepper spice. I like this.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and dark caramelish. Sweet fruity, yeasty and caramelish. Lingering fruity and yeasty into the finish.

cloudy brown, smooth yellow head. mild aroma, slightly spicy, slightly sort of sourish hoppy. flavor is flowery, roasted malty, coffee, malts. dark beer with a touch of dried fruits and dark fruits. nice.

Bottled. A hazy dark red beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, and caramel as well as light notes of bread, leading to a dry spicy finish.

Medium body, carbonation is a little low, Overripe dark dried fruits, quite some roast and an edge of tartness. No real bitterness but some lingering alcohol notes. 220611
