Winter sucker-no new rate edition."Less then 1% of: Natural Flavor" Pint glass pour. Half inch of flimsy white-wash head. Picturesque filtered golden amber lager color. Carbonation looks well to do. Smell is of soggy oats, must, & dirty/metallic still water. There is an underlying note of cheap perfume & vanillan. Initial taste is okay. What I thought was maybe a darker, more natural cider, actually started to reveal itself as nothing more then varnish & apple concentrate. It was just masked by the prickly carbonation. Ugh. I could almost swear this is sweetened with instant iced tea mix, spiked with grain alcohol, & leveled out to 5% with recalled menthol-flavored seltzer water. Very ugly plastic/petroleum phenols. This "hard cider" is considerably worse then many of their basic offerings. Those are bad, but this is sickening.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Aroma is big apple, no lacing, extremely small white head that dissapates quickly. Taste is sweet apple with light tartness. Low carbonation, light body, and clear light pale yellow.

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a fizzy dark amber color with a trace white head that faded instantly. The aroma was strongly sweet and tangy apple with a hint of spice. The flavor was tart and strongly sweet apple with faint cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish was long, tart and sweet apple. Medium body. Well done.

Sampled at the Top of the Hops Beer Festival, Charlottesville, VA, 9/11/10. Pours a clear amber color with nearly no head. Big cinnamon and nutmeg notes with a sweet apple finish. The taste is sweet apples, cinnamon, vanilla and a tart finish of baked apples. Medium bodied. Fairly nice.

Pronounced cinnamon, clove, and apple nose. Clear amber, some visible effervescence. Cinnamon apple flavor with minty overtones. Normally, I don’t care for minty flavors in beer or cider, but this works, somehow. A biscuity shortbread finish. This tastes more like a very good Christmas cider, than fall. Creative and I like it a lot. May be my favorite Woodchuck.

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this cider poured a yellow-amber color with a trace white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sweet and spicy dried apple with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was tart and sweet spiced apples with nutmeg and clove underlying. The cider turned a bit dry towards the long apple finish. Light to medium body. Nice.

Very pale/clear with a bit of a fizzy head. Aroma has a very sweet, crisp pear note. Medium bodied with decent carbonation. Flavor has a light tart pear note, crisp, sweet, and a bit of other fruit notes. Very non-descript. But wow- this goes down super easy. I could see this being a great summer heat beater.

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this cider poured a dark caramel-amber color with a small white head. The aroma was lightly mild tart apple. The flavor was light tart apples and a touch of caramel. The finish was short, tart apple. Ok.

On tap and in bottle rating for bottle (on tap a little better). Pours a light golden color with little head. The head and the carbonation dissapates quickly. Almost no lacing. Taste is malty apple cider. Not really beer, but the women may go for this one.
