Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 11/04/10. Very sweet, with some over ripe fruit, syrup, bubble gum and prominent alcohol in the finish. Not very nice.

30cl bottle at De Beiaard, Spui, Amsterdam on 18th March 2010. Pours gold with a small white head. Rich and hoppy with a slightly savoury note in the main kick. Blend of grapefruit and grass hop and a touch of citrus on the tongue. Dry hoppy finish. Slight cheese aromas complete a generally rounded flavour palate. Delicious.

Small off-white head over clear foxy-orange beer. Oil for French fries, little sourish hint, caramelmalt. Sharpish caramel/toasted flavour, light-coloured malts, again a light sourish touch retronasal. Reasonably well-bodied, quite slick, some alcohol presence; slightly burning MF. Reasonable Bock, certainly for a bio product. Just the nose coming over as rather ominous.

Bottle, 6.5%. Malty aroma. Clear dark brown colour with a red shine. Small tan head. Roasted liquorice flavour, not so well-balanced. Malty enough and slightly sweet. Good alcohol level. OK for a macro.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel, malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of nuts and caramel, on a malty and bready back ground, leading to a very dry nutty finish.

A red beer with chunks of yeast floating around below a disappearing orange head. The is primarily sweet while the flavor is sweet and dry. Too simple.

(Bottle 30 cl) Brown beer with a reddish tint. Creamy, light brown beer. Notes of burned malt in both aroma and flavours and a rather pronounced bitterness balanced by sweet malt. Harmonious. 280204
